What is a deposit and why do I have to pay one?
A deposit is a small upfront payment (e.g., $20 or 50% of the service cost) that reserves your appointment slot. It:
  • Secures your spot so the business doesn't lose money if you don't show
  • Is applied to your final bill when you attend the appointment
  • Is refundable if you cancel with proper notice (usually 24+ hours)

Can I cancel or reschedule?
Yes! Use the link in your confirmation email to cancel or reschedule. Important: Check the business's cancellation policy to see if your deposit is refundable. Most businesses require 24 hours' notice for a full refund.
What if I can't make it and don't cancel?

Will I get reminders?
Yes! You'll get two email reminders:
  • 24 hours before your appointment

Is my payment information secure?
Absolutely. Payments are processed by Stripe, the same payment processor used by Amazon, Google, and millions of businesses. BookedSolid never sees or stores your full credit card number.
I didn't receive a confirmation email. What do I do?

The business cancelled my appointment. Will I get my deposit back?
Yes, always. If the business cancels (for any reason), your deposit is automatically refunded in full. Refunds typically appear in your account within 5-10 business days.
Who do I contact if I have an issue with my appointment?
Contact the business directly—they manage their own bookings, cancellations, and policies. Their contact info is in your confirmation email. BookedSolid provides the booking platform, but the business controls their schedule and policies.
